General School Rules

  • Students are required to carry a pass while leaving the classroom. Passes are to be properly filled by the teacher. This includes going for the guidance counselor's office.
  • Students are not permitted to bring electronic games, toys, Walkman, sports equipment, radios, headphones, beepers, pagers, or cellular phones. These will be confiscated and will only be returned to the parent.
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality, effort, and respect are required for success.
  • School uniform is required for all students, in accordance with resolutions adopted by the School Leadership Team.
  • Infirmary is for students who are too ill to attend class. The student must obtain a pass from the classroom before going to the Infirmary.
  • If a student is too ill to remain in school, a parent/guardian will be expected to pick him/her up. The student must be officially signed out at the Main Office. All school
    personnel have been trained to obtain strict proof of identification before releasing the child.

Student Code of Behavior

The school is a place of learning; therefore, there must be an atmosphere based on mutual respect. All students should demonstrate a desire to get the best education
possible. We expect students to adhere to the following behavior code:

  • Be courteous
  • Respect the property, rights and feelings of others.
  • Respect school property
  • Avoid confrontations, fighting, and profanity
  • Vandalism and harassment are not acceptable.

Classroom Behavior

Students are expected to be in class on time, and to demonstrate courteous behavior so that each individual's rights are respected and everyone can learn in an orderly
environment. Students are expected to be prepared with all necessary materials for learning, and homework assignments daily. Teachers will discuss and review classroom
rules the beginning of the school year, and will continue to implement them throughout the year
.

Transport Rules

AIl pupils who commute by school bus, have to abide by school discipline norms. Any misbehavior that distracts the driver is a serious violation and could harm someone.
Therefore, the pupils are required to follow the following rules:

  • All the students using the school bus are expected to be at the bus stop, at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus.
  • Children should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives.
  • Students should not come near the entry door of the bus until it has made a complete stop.
  • Students should reach their respective bus stop on time. Buses cannot wait for the late comers.
  • All students must occupy seats immediately after boarding their buses.
  • When the bus is moving the students must not move around inside the bus, no part of their body should be outside the bus.
  • Object of any kind must not be discarded inside or thrown out of the bus.

Attendance & Withdrawal Rules

  • Leave or absence will be granted only for compelling/unavoidable reasons with written application in advance.
  • Student’s absence from school must be explained in a note to the principal by the parents or guardian.
  • Withdrawal of the child during class hours for attending religious /social obligation. only, in case of emergency ,the principal may be contacted.
  • In case of infection, please do not send the child to school until he/she can join back with a fitness certificate from the doctor.
  • All students are expected to attend classes on the opening day of vacations. Absence for more than a week after vacation without prior information will render the
    student liable to have his/her name stuck off from the roll.
  • If a student absents himself/herself from the school without prior information, for more than 10 consecutive days, his/her name is liable to be stuck —off from the roll.
    Re-admission may be allowed on the payment of fresh admission fee on the discretion of the principal.
  • In case of withdrawal of the pupil (from school/school transport), it should be made known to the principal in writing ,one calendar month in advance or else the months
    fee will be charged. No withdrawal from the school transport will be made between the months of January to march.
  • Transfer certificate will be issued after all dues of the school are settled.
